The Alpine Challenge is a 4 stage Alpine endurance road event. Based out of the beautiful lakeside town of Annecy, France the scenery and riding is breathtaking ... and testing with about 8,000m of climbing.
Riders enjoy the benefits of rolling road closures, motorbike outriders and lead vehicles, whilst riding in seeded groups commensurate with ability and supported by a professional crew including masseurs, paramedics and a full mechanic team.
This event provides the opportunity to ride a series of mountain stages (approximately 110km per day) and about 8,000m of climbing, and offers a Tour de France multi mountain stage experience. The events starts with a timed mountain Prologue which is used to seed riders into the appropriate groups. Thereafter 3 mountain stages follow, scaling some of the famous Tour de France mountain climbs.
Each day there is a flagged timed climb, the aggregate time determines the Leaders Jersey winners (male and female). Teams of 4 also compete for the Best Team award.

HotChillee has been specialising in pro style events since 2003. Starting with the famous London-Paris that developed into the Global Event Series with the addition of the Alpine Challenge and Cape Rouleur we now take pleasure in presenting Dunkerque-Roubaix with Geraint Thomas.
We love great, authentic locations and Roubaix is probably the next best finish venue after the Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe in the centre of Paris. A single day event with massive historical significance.
Designed using the same formula as The London-Paris; rolling road closures, professional support and unforgettable riding experiences the event has become another welcome addition to the summer cycling calendar.

A sneaky video of Group 2 from HotChillee Training Ride #7 in the Cheshire Lanes.
Thanks to Henry Iddon http://www.henryiddon.com for the footage - and another huge shout out to DHL for hosting us Southerners.
Looking forward to next year already.
Spectacular sunny weather and a closely fought team competition ensured that the 12th edition of the LONDON-PARIS was the hottest yet! With only a couple of minutes separating the top 3 teams at the end of Stage 2, G!RO managed to secure victory over Bulk Hardware and Skoda in the 20km yellow race section of the final stage to Paris.
