The experience of riding The Alpine Challenge brought back all the feelings of that crazy La Plagne mountain top stage in 1987 when I won the Tour de France. The most real it can get for an amateur.

Stephen Roche - Tour de France & Triple Crown Winner

The Alpine Challenge was everything that I love about bike riding. The organisation was perfect, the routes were incomparable, and each stage was just right - not too hard, not too easy. They were demanding without leaving me empty each evening. It was the people involved in the event - both on the organisating side and the participants, that made it an absolutely unforgettable experience throughout. Over the last week since the conclusion of the event, I find myself waking up every morning, hoping that somehow the clock ticked backward over night, and I'm waking up in Annecy about to start another stage with friends we made there. Thanks for everything. Can't wait until next year.

Jered Gruber - Chazal Red Jersey Winner, Alpine Challenge 2011

The 2011 Alpine Challenge is a major highlight of my sporting life. The physical challenge and adrenaline of the race sections, the superb scenary, the incredible event support but mostly the camaraderie to provide the best cycling experience I have ever had. I feel a huge sense of personal achievement, have fantastic memories and have made great new friends. The Alpine Challenge has reignited my love of cycling. I am still on a huge high and cannot wait to come back next year.

Kelli Bayliss - Chazal Pink Jersey Winner, Alpine Challenge 2011

I was so pleased to have been able to participate in this year's Alpine Challenge. The organisation was second to none as directions were clear and safe at every turn thanks to great marshalling. This event captures some of Europe's most spectacular scenery along with a friendly clientele to deliver a thoroughly enjoyable event.

Yanto Barker - Director, Le Col

There is just one word to sum up The Alpine Challenge and that is stunning. From the arrival to the departure, Annecy managed to take my breath away with how beautiful it was. Every climb and every corner the view just opened up and got even more stunning. The climbs where challenging and enjoyable all at the same time and it was a good job there was someone taking photographs because otherwise I would have had to stop every 5 minutes to take a picture. The camaraderie in the group itself really made the trip for me. Everyone went over the same climbs and felt the same satisfaction on reaching the summits and it was great to reminisce over a beer in the evening with how everyone else had found the day. But by far the best part for me was being able to jump in Lake Annecy after the riding was done to cool off the legs ready for the next day. If there is one event to do next year then this is it!

The 2011 Alpine Challenge provided us with an exceptional opportunity to showcase the Wattbike to an engaged audience in a superb environment. The team from HotChillee ensured we were more than just sponsors, we felt like an integral part of the event. We’re looking forward to working with HotChillee on future projects to assist us in bringing the benefits of the Wattbike to a wider audience.

Matt Moran - PR Manager, Wattbike

The event was organised to an exceptionally high standard. The day to day support (out-riders, mechanics, lunch, snacks and sports products) was fantastic. Combined with the camaraderie amongst the crew and other riders, this was a very special experience for me and a great personal achievement.

Juliette Clarke - Sigma Pink Jersey winner, Alpine Challenge 2010

I enjoyed every second of the event, three days being treated like a pro in the Alps! Riding from one location is such a pleasure - no stress and returning to Annecy each day is perfect. Stephen Roche was brilliant, such a pleasure to ride with. We were thoroughly spoilt!

Ian Lobley - Partner 3i

We have been the official neutral service providers for HotChillee events for 2 years now and thoroughly value the partnership. This year we have increased our involvement and will be utilising The London-Paris & The Alpine Challenge for brand awareness, direct consumer engagement and also implementing our annual dealer incentive and reward initiative.

We always have a minimum of 2 of the Mavic team riding the events as the opportunities that arise from direct interaction with the HotChillee riding community is invaluable.
